A teenager from New Fairfield is facing a number of charges for having alcohol in his car and a fake ID. Police say 18-year old Jacob Wixted was stopped on Route 22 in the town of Southeast early last Friday morning for a routine traffic violation.
That's when a Deputy found an alcoholic beverage in the car and a fake Connecticut driver's license.
The teen was released on $150 bail to his parents. He will appear in Southeast Justice Court at a future date to answer the charges.
