26-year old David Rawsthorne of Bethel has been charged with larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny for the June 16th incident. Stamford Police say the manager of Cosi's gave officers a questionable account of an armed man entering stealing $2,000.
Police say surveillance video didn't show anyone entering through the back door. Rawsthorne was then charged with falsely reporting a crime.
33-year old Justin Brunco of Stamford was charged with larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny.
Both men are being held on bond.
