The state Department of Public Health has listed Top Flight Sports Center in New Milford as having inactive licenses for the summer camp and preschool.
New Milford Police say they are investigating possible cases of physical abuse at the center.
The DPH website says that company voluntarily surrendered their license for the preschool on June 22nd after reporting itself and that the facility closed on Friday June 29th. A complaint had been filed last August, according to the state agency for ensuring the safety, health and development of children. This is the credential listing from the DPH site detailing past violations.
The Pickett District Road facility received it's license from the state in 2002. The last inspection of the center was completed just this March.
