There is enough evidence to try a former Newtown man for the 1984 murder of his wife. John Heath was in Court Thursday for a probable cause hearing.
The 68-year old is accused of killing his wife Elizabeth nearly 30 years ago and hiding her body on the property they shared. His attorney says there's no evidence tying Heath to Elizabeth's death.
The woman's remains were found three years ago by the Poverty Hollow Road home's new owners during a renovation project.
Heath remains held on a $1 million bond and will be back in Court on September 7th.
