A complaint has been filed by the attorney for a woman suing Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton alleging discrimination.
Wendy DaCosta, who according to the filing was Boughton's executive secretary, also says she the city didn't approve a request under the federal Family and Medical Leave Act. The complaint says she was fired for violating the city's anti-harassment policies.
According to the brief, DaCosta had a relationship with Public Works Director Antonio Iadarola, who filed a harassment complaint against her, and that she had been disciplined for having contact with him after the relationship ended.
