Brookfield man Tasered for threat to Police

Brookfield police have Tasered a man who they say threatened to commit suicide by cop.  Police say officers were called to a Candlewood Lake Road home Thursday night on reports that a man was suicidal. 

Responding officers found the man, who's identity was not released, sitting outside the house with several knives.  He allegedly stood up holding at least one knife and an officer Tasered him. 

The man was taken to Danbury Hospital for treatment and observation.
