The towns of Redding, Ridgefield, Wilton and Newtown have issued a response to the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority report on Connecticut Light and Power's handling of storm response.
The area First Selectmen want to have more control to clear downed wires and open roads. Redding First Selectman Natalie Ketcham said in published reports that was a glaring omission in the PURA report.
The towns issued their own 5-page response to PURA's draft decision listing concerns they say weren't addressed. The First Selectmen say failing to address their concerns leave the towns vulnerable.
