Danbury man arrested for attempted theft at Mall

Danbury Police have arrested a city man for trying to steal from a store at the mall earlier this summer. 

40-year old Robert Brown was arrested Monday morning on a warrant charging him with 3rd degree robbery and conspiracy to commit 4th degree larceny.  The man allegedly tried to steal items from Lord and Taylor Department Store on August 11th. 

He is being held on $50,000 bond.  Police did not have details on when  the man would be arraigned in court.
