Danbury man charged with assault

A Danbury man has been charged with assault for an incident Tuesday. Police say 35-year old Laheen Danzy of Triangle Street was charged with 3rd degree assault around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon.

Police did not release any details of the incident that led to the arrest.

Danzy was released on $5,000 for arraignment in Danbury Superior Court Wednesday.
