Two Darien men, reportedly police officers, arrested for firing weapons

Two men, reportedly police officers, have been arrested by State Police as part of an investigation about gunshots in Darien.  An unoccupied vehicle owned by James Martin, parked in his driveway, sustained a number of gun shots on August 1st.  A two-month investigation led to warrants being issued for the 41-year old Darien resident and 38-year old Daniel Ehret of Darien.

They've each been charged with reckless endangerment, breach of peace and unlawful discharge of a firearm.  Both men were ordered to appear in court on the 19th. 

 

The Darien Daily Voice says the pair are Darien Police Officers.
