CHESHIRE, Conn. (AP) A 90-year-old woman has been struck and killed by a vehicle while crossing a Cheshire street.

Police say Mildred Masserman was crossing Route 10 Saturday evening when she was struck by a car driven by 66-year-old Mary DiDomizio.

Masserman was taken to a hospital where she died from her injuries.

DiDomizio stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police. No charges have been filed.

The crash remains under investigation.
