Truck shot in Connecticut; couple in pickup truck sought

MILFORD, Conn. (AP) - State police say a tractor-trailer parked at an Interstate 95 rest area in Connecticut has been struck by a bullet and troopers want to question a couple in a pickup truck seen nearby.

The bullet struck the driver's side of the tractor-trailer at about 2 a.m. Friday while it was parked at the rest area on the southbound side of the highway in Milford. The driver, a 31-year-old Philadelphia man, was not hurt.

Surveillance video from the area shows a shirtless, heavyset white male, wearing jeans and tan work boots, in the area of the truck at the time of the shooting. He had a white female passenger wearing dark clothing.

The tan Ford Super Duty pickup truck they were in left the area at a high rate of speed.
